Purin Commissions

All commissions are priced in USD through Paypal or Stripe(VGEN)

Payment must be made 50% upfront. Any remaining balance is due after the approval of the completed work. For VGEN Skeb/Surprise-Me commissions: Payment Is 100% upfront.

Commissions are for personal use only (e.g. profile pictures, banners, backgrounds, personal prints, gifts). You may post the finished commission as long as you credit me with my social media handle or not edit/remove the watermark of the full illustration.

You may not sell or redistribute my art in any form, physical or digital, print under any circumstances unless you have my express written permission and you have paid for the right to do so. I strictly do not consent my work being minted as NFT nor used to train AI.

My usual turnaround is 1-3 months but may subject to change due to IRL schedules and the complexity of the commission. I will usually work on 1-2 commissions at a time while others will be placed on the waiting list until I get to your turn. Waitlisted clients may cancel their reservation anytime.

Timelines and schedules may change based on health, work schedule, irl commitments, and the general creative process. Clients will be updated when projects are expected to take longer.

I retain all rights to the created artwork and reserve the right to display the artwork(s) on my social media and portfolio. This is negotiable should you prefer a nondisclosure agreement policy for an additional fee.

I do not claim any rights to previously designed characters and other intellectual properties used in the process of creation.

Please note that I reserve the right to decline a request or discontinue a commission at any time at which a full refund will be issued.

Visual references are required. Please provide the references and description in the commission form. More refs are highly encouraged (References, colors, desired elements, facial expressions, etc.). Even a stickmen sketch as a pose reference would be greatly appreciated too!

The prices outlined in the pricing tab are baseline and subject to change without notice. Pricing also depends on the complexity and scope of each individual project.

Additional charges made in the middle of the commission process will reflect in the invoice(for the remaining balance) and (For commercial commissions:) may be subjected to contract amendment and re-signing of both parties.

It is the client's responsibility to ensure the commissioned work contains the correct details during the sketch and any key-stage approval, to be reasonably available for any questions, and to provide timely feedback and decisions regarding the commissioned work.

Main communication on both parties can be through either email or discord / social media DMs.

Should the client fails to respond to the approval request for more than a month, the commission work will be put on hold, and the allotted timeframe/turnaround discussed will no longer be enforced.

The client may contact me anytime about the commission, my availability and response will be around 9 AM to 6 PM GMT+8.

[During sketch stage] The client can request up to 3 changes. Major revisions are allowed only during this stage.
[Past the sketch stage up to completion] No major changes allowed. Up to 3 minor changes are allowed for free during this stage; anything that exceeds this are subject to additional fees. Details and descriptions I've missed during the sketch stage will be revised free of charge.

For VGEN Skeb/Surprise-Me commissions: Commission delivery is final and no revision will be made. Minor revisions such as color correction and minor details I missed will be allowed free of charge.

Proposal Stage: Client will be fully refunded if I haven't started sketching the work yet.

During the sketch stage: If the client wishes to cancel the commission during the following stages:
[Rough Sketch stage] 75% of the down payment will be refunded.
[Rough Color Pass stage] 50% of the down payment will be refunded.

Past the sketch stage: Cancellations are NON-REFUNDABLE.

For VGEN Skeb/Surprise-Me commissions: Cancellations are NON-REFUNDABLE

Should the client cancel in the middle of the commission work, they are not permitted to use the drafts and work-in-progress(WIP) shots on any future third-party artworks and commissions.

Client will receive a full refund if under any circumstances I’m unable to finish the commission within or past the allotted timeframe.

If the client wishes to obtain the commercial rights of the commissioned work(s) for merchandise, redistribution or outside of what is listed in the general terms, they must purchase and sign a Licensing Agreement Contract.

A License may allow the client to create merchandise of both physical (i.e. prints, stickers, keychains) and digital (icons, streaming content, wallpapers) varieties.

The client must disclose all intended use the commissioned work(s) will be featured and showcased in. Any undisclosed or additional usages requires the redrafting and re-signing of a new License Agreement.

The client must credit the artist by listing the artist's name on the merchandise description.

Pricing of the licensing fee will be reviewed on a case-to-case basis taking into consideration the type of commissioned work, the client's budget, and the projected profits of the merchandise run.

The prices outlined in each items are baseline and subject to change without notice.

Pricing depends on the complexity and scope of each commission.

Currently not taking priority/rush jobs for personal commissions unless it's for commercial use.
